Too often, the pressures of trying to stay healthy, eat well and be fit and active can lead to more stress being added to our lives, when what we really want is to enjoy life. The pressures we place on ourselves can lead to All or Nothing cycles: of being really focused on our fitness routines at one extreme and laid up on the couch with a bag of crisps at the other. I want to help you change that, break out of the cycle and create a healthy lifestyle that you love.
How can we live healthy lives whilst being kind to ourselves too?
I would like to introduce you to ‘Active Wellbeing’. This is my unique approach to health and wellness, which balances our fitness goals holistically with our mental wellbeing, and is considerate the chaos in the rest of our lives.
This approach removes the pressures of getting fit the ‘proper’ way and teaches us to appreciate our bodies and the wonderful things they are capable of. Everybody is unique, and everybody has an Active Wellbeing path which fits them.
An active lifestyle can be transformational, not only to our health but to other areas of life too. Women who succesfully maintain an active lifestyle report feelings of increased self-esteem, self-worth, confidence and a sense of freedom! That is what I want for you.
My Active Wellbeing Academy will not only get you started but will continue to support you as your journey progresses. You will learn how to create sustainable fitness routines without the stress, how to motivate yourself at times when you’re not feeling your best and how to pick yourself back up when you fall down – so that you can continue to live a healthier, happier life.
An active lifestyle will change your life! Don’t just take my word for it. Even the government agrees, as you can see below.
Who is it for?
My Active Wellbeing Academy is for women who want to get active and feel good again. In particular:

- VIP Discounts when booking any 1:1 sessions with Diane Brown
The Active Wellbeing Academy is your investment in yourself, for you to live a more active and fulfilled life.
I am currently in the development phase, to get ready for the typically busy period after Christmas. This means I am restricting this first intake to just 15 new members, so that I can be responsive to any glitches and support you when needed. This also means there is a good deal to be had.
- RIGHT NOW Life membership of the Active Wellbeing Adademy is just £360! (or 6 x £60 payments)
- When you pay for a lifetime membership in full (£360), you will get a BONUS 1:1 consultation with me (worth £70)
That’s the equivalant of a gym membership, but with someone genuinely working to support you, and you don’t have to pay it again next year!!!
How amazing would it feel to have someone supporting you every step of the way with the changes you’d love to make? To boost your motivation when it feels tough, to bolster your self-confidence and self-belief and to share your excitement about the journey?!
In additon, because I am so confident in my academy, if you feel like you haven’t made any progress after the first month (and have attended every session), I will happily give you a full re-fund.
There are two payment options. You can choose to pay in full or pay in 6 installments.
Pay in full – and get two free bonuses
When you pay in full you pay one time £360 when booking. To thank you for paying in full I will give you a free 1:1 consulation to help you get your journey started.
Pay installments – at no extra cost
I know that it’s not always easy to find lump sums of money. That’s why I’m also giving the option for you to pay in installments. You just need to pay £60 when booking, to get you started, and then I will contact you to arrange five further payments of £60 on a monthly basis. The total you pay will still be £360.
Your Coach, Diane Brown
In the Active Wellbeing Academy you will be getting the dedicated service of a professional Exercise Psychology Coach (me) and an experienced Wellbeing Life Coach (also me). So who am I?
I’m really passionate about helping women get active and feel good (whatever that means for you). I chose this work due to my own personal experiences of getting fit and what it did to improve my wellbeing and success in life. My personal favourite activities are running and triathlon, although these days I do a bit of walking and yoga too. I developed this ‘first-of-its-kind’ adademy as I could see the need for a different way to support women with their wellbeing goals. One that embraced physical activity as a key component to wellbeing, and also paid greater attention to the mental as well as physical benefits. On top of all of this I am also qualified to Level 2 in Triathlon Coaching with the British Triathlon Federation, giving me additional knowledge in the fields of swimming, cycling and run training.
I’m lovely to work with too! But don’t just take my word for it, here’s what my client’s say about me:
What my clients say…
Thank you to Diane for guiding me through her recent 10 week programme. Diane’s approach is gentle, non judgemental and supportive. You make your own choices and do what feels right for you on any given day. There is no coersion and you will feel proud of any achievement however big or small. Diane’s gentle questioning and guidance allows you to feel comfortable taking even the smallest steps and then she has a way of making you feel so proud of your achievements along with the other members of the program offering a life line of accountability .Nicola – Find What Feels Good – March 2020
I’ve just completed the course with Diane, and it has been excellent. I went from someone ‘who doesn’t exercise’ to someone ‘who is becoming active, and enjoying it!’ The course came at just the right time for me, so if it’s something you’ve been thinking about, stop procrastinating and get on with it! Diane is lovely, helpful, encouraging and sympathetic. I never felt judged or put down by my experience, in fact quite the opposite.Lauri – Find What Feels Good – March 2020
When will the coaching sessions be held?
I have made two classes available on different days and times. You need to select one when booking and that will be your coaching time for the duration of the 12 week programme. Each class will only take up to 5 participants, booked on a first come, first served basis.
The class times for the August intake are Monday @ 7pm and Wednesday @ 10am.
I never really done “exercise” before and I’m not sure where to start – will the programme help with this?
Yes. Although the main focus of this programme is mindset and wellbeing, I will encourage you to do your own research around activities suitable for you and find your own answers. I am also qualified to give specific guidance on swimming, cycling and running, and I have numerous contacts in other areas such as walking, yoga, pilates, online gyms and strength training so I am always happy to point you in the right direction for any sport specific support.
Will the programme be as intense as the 5 day challenge?
No. The challenge was designed to help you cover a lot of ground quickly, but I would not expect you to maintain that pace for a 12 week programme. You will have weekly session and time to digest what is covered in between. You do everything at your own pace, including deciding when to begin you more active lifestyle.
I have a really busy and hectic life – Will I be able to fit this in?
Yes. The programme has been designed so that it allows you to discover ways to fit fitness into your life that you may not have previously thought of. You will need to find the time to attend the weekly coaching session but in the beginning this is all you need. I will work with you to find where we can carve out time for more physical activity.
This seems like quite a gentle approach – is it still suitable for me as I would like to really challenge myself?
Absolutely! What’s great about this programme is that it suits anyone at any level. You come with your own goals and I support you to get to where you want to be. The sky’s the limit!
I’d love to join the programme but I’m not sure if I can afford it right now – are there any payment plans available?
Yes. You can pay in 3 installments if you wish to spread the cost. You will pay £190 at checkout by redeeming the code ‘PAY3’ at checkout. I will then contact you to arrange two further monthly payments of £190.
If you choose to pay in full you will receive two free bonuses:
- A 1:1 Consultation with me to get you started (worth £70)
- An invitation for free membership to the FitBee Couch to 5k Club, which I run.
Bonuses are available only when paying in full.
How do I Book?
To book you will first need to choose the time of your weekly coaching session. Monday @7pm or Wednesday @10am.
Then, when you go to payment, decide if you wish to pay in full (to received the bonuses) or pay in installments.
To pay in installments redeem the coupon code ‘PAY3’ when checking out.
